Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026. This Policy describes how Devlink Core uses cookies and similar technologies on https://devlink-core.digital.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use localStorage for remembering your cookie consent choice under the key devlinkcore_cookie_consent.
Types we use
Essential. Required for basic site operation such as remembering cookie preferences and enabling navigation. These do not require consent in the same way as optional cookies, but we still show a clear Accept / Reject choice for optional analytics.
Analytics (optional). Help us understand aggregate traffic patterns if you accept. Rejecting optional cookies does not block access to courses information or forms.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| devlinkcore_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject preference for optional cookies | Until cleared by user | Devlink Core (localStorage) |
| dlc_session | Maintains basic load-balancer / session continuity when enabled by hosting | Session | Devlink Core hosting |
| _dlc_analytics | Optional aggregate visit metrics (only if accepted) | 6 months | Devlink Core analytics |
| font cache / third-party assets | May set cookies when loading fonts from Google Fonts | Varies | Google Fonts |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use the on-site banner to Accept or Reject optional cookies. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes localStorage preferences and cookies. Browser controls differ by vendor; consult your browser’s help documentation.
Third-party cookies
Embedded or linked third parties — for example Microsoft Store pages you open via our CTA, or font providers — may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We do not control those cookies.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting optional analytics does not remove educational content. Disabling all cookies or clearing storage may cause the consent banner to reappear and may affect certain hosting session behaviors.
For personal data practices, read our Privacy Policy.
